Florence Airport – Peretola

From the PERETOLA AIRPORT you can decide to arrive at the accommodation in VIA DEI PILASTRI 55:

• by TAXI arriving directly at the accommodation in about 20 minutes. The cost is around €30 but the rate may vary depending on the number of passengers, luggage or time (night).
• by PUBLIC TRANSPORT, with a total journey of about 50 minutes (very cheap). Outside the airport you will find an urban train (TRAMVIA T2) that will take you to the city center in Piazza San Marco area (San Marco University) and then continue walking or with a bus.

TRAMVIA T2. This transport has an average frequency of about 4/10 minutes. Journey time 35 minutes.

Remember to buy the ticket. The cost is €1.70. You can use the same ticket for subsequent transport (bus) for up to 90 minutes. You can buy it:

• Before boarding, at the ticket machine on the quay. Remember to stamp your ticket on board (only once).
• Directly on board with the contactless system, use a credit, debit or prepaid card or your smartphone. (REMEMBER 1 bank→1 ticket). Whenever you change buses, you will need to pass the card to validate your ticket, the system will automatically understand if the trip is within the validity period of the ticket or if you need to buy a new one.
