Parking and Garage

The historic centre of Florence is very small and you can walk through it in about 20 minutes. 

Arriving by train is the best choice however IF YOU ARRIVE BY CAR remember that THE ACCOMMODATION IS LOCATED IN THE HISTORIC CENTER AFFECTED BY THE ZTL, a large area with traffic restriction.

You can park in the city centre (ZTL) outside the city centre or in the neighbouring town (Scandicci).

CENTRO CITTA’ – ZTL – You can easily reach the accommodation and unload your luggage only if you decide to park in a paid garage within the same area (ZTL). 

Entering the city center you will pass a camera and your license plate will be photographed. It is MANDATORY to reach a paid garage to register your car and validate your presence with the police. If you enter ZTL without going to a garage, you will receive the fine at home!

INSIDE the ZTL area, garages are more expensive but definitely comfortable. The nearest:

  • GARAGE ITALIA Via Fiesolana, 19, 50122 Firenze FI – Tel. 039 3270178012 – The cost is 30€ per day for customers of LA DIVINA DIMORA (caravans and large cars have different prices).
  • CITY PARKING FIESOLANA Via Fiesolana, 17, 50122 Firenze FI – Tel. 039 366 571 6947 – Here the car is welcomed and moved to another space. 

OUTSIDE the ZTL area, you can decide whether to park along the road in the designated spaces marked in blue, paying the hourly/ daily rate at the machines or in private or municipal garages. With this option you will have to walk or take a taxi to reach the accommodation with your suitcases. Communal garages (daily rates €15/€20):

OUTSIDE the city of Florence (Scandicci), the PARKING OF VILLA COSTANZA is the cheapest alternative (about €7 per day).  Access from the A1 motorway between the Firenze/Scandicci and Firenze/Impruneta exits and you can stay all day for a maximum of 30 consecutive days. From the parking lot with a city train (TRAMVIA T1) in just 22 minutes you will reach Santa Maria Novella station, in the heart of the city (ticket cost €1.70).
