Swimming pools
You will find many swimming pools in the city and out of town, public and private accessible to outside guests. Swimming pools outside the city can be reached by taxi, car (see menu “Rent a car”) or bus.
Before reaching the swimming pool, check on the internet that it is open.
IN THE CITY:
Le Pavoniere piscina Viale della Catena, 2 – Firenze
Immersed in the greenery of the largest park in the city (Cascine), a swimming pool with bar, restaurant and pizzeria. In the evening the pool is closed but the area turns into a nightclub with music and many events for adults.
How to get there: From the central station of Santa Maria Novella with the Tram T1 direction “Villa Costanza” get off at the stop “Cascine” you can reach in a few minutes walk
Remember that the pool is located in the Cascine Park, an area with security problems where it is best to go by taxi especially in some hours of the day
Piscina Costoli Via Pasquale Paoli -piazza Enrico Berlinguer, 2 – Firenze
It is the largest and best equipped swimming pool in Florence, with a bar and three swimming pools (one Olympic). The complex is located in the Campo di Marte area near the Artemio Franchi stadium.
How to get there: From Via dei Pilastri 55 walk up to Via della Colonna and at the stop “Colonna Liceo Michelangiolo” get up on the bus 6B direction “novelli” and get off at the stop “D’Annunzio Ramazzini”.
Nannini (Bellariva) Lungarno Aldo Moro 6 – Firenze
Sul Lungarno di Firenze e offre un bar e ristorante in una suggestiva location.
How to get there: From Via dei Pilastri 55 walk up to Via della Colonna and at the stop “Colonna Liceo Michelangiolo” get up on the bus 14A direction “il Girone” and get off at the stop “Aretina De Gasperi”.
Piscina Hu campeggio in Town Via Generale C. A. dalla Chiesa, 1/3 – Firenze
Water park inside the campsite with daily access for outside guests.
How to get there: From Via dei Pilastri 55 walk up to Via della Colonna and at the stop “Colonna Liceo Michelangiolo” get up on the bus 14A direction “il Girone” and get off at the stop “Dalla Chiesa Campeggio”.
Four Seasons Hotel Firenze Borgo Pinti, 99 – Firenze
The hotel swimming pool is accessible to external guests who book a treatment in the Spa on reservation.
Klab Marignolle Via del Ferrone 5, Firenze
2 indoor pools and 3 outdoor. In the evening, the outdoor pools are transformed into venues for exclusive events, aperitifs with dj sets by the pool.
How to get there: From Via dei Pilastri 55 walk up to Via della Colonna and at the stop “Colonna Liceo Castelnuovo” get up on the bus 6B direction “Ospedale Torre Galli” and get off at the stop ” Scandicci Pesellino”, continue on foot for 800 meters, about 11 minutes uphill.
OUTSIDE OF FLORENCE:
In Campi Bisenzio, you will find two swimming pools. The easiest way to get there is by car or taxi. You can travel by public transport (Bus) but in addition to using two buses you will have to walk from 7 to 20 minutes with a journey of about 90 minutes.

Small water park with indoor and outdoor pools and slides.
How to get there: From Via dei Pilastri 55 walk up to Via della Colonna and at the stop “Colonna Liceo Castelnuovo” get up on the bus 17B direction “Boito” and get off at the stop “Porte Nuove Belfiore”. Get on the bus 30B direction “Campi Bisenzio Togliatti” and get off at the stop “Barberinese Volta Prata”, continue on foot for 7 minutes.
Asmana Via Salvator Allende, 10 Campi Bisenzio (FI)
Exclusive wellness centre with sauna, salt water and outdoor pools. Poolside aperitifs and events. Access is restricted to persons under the age of 18.
How to get there: From Via dei Pilastri 55 walk up to Via della Colonna and at the stop “Colonna Liceo Castelnuovo” get up on the bus 17B direction “Boito” and get off at the stop “Porte Nuove Belfiore”. Get on the bus 30B direction “Campi Bisenzio – Togliatti” and get off at the stop “Buozzi Rossini”, continue on foot for 25 minutes or at the stop “Buozzi Rossini” you can get up on the the bus 91 and get off at the stop “Allende” then continue walking for 10 minutes.
