FLORENCE VIEWS:
You can travel by walking or public transport. If you use public transport (BUS and TRAMVIA) remember to buy the ticket. The cost is €1.70 and will be valid for a maximum of 90 minutes. You can buy it:
- Before going up, in tobacconists, supermarkets, some bars, to the machine on the quay of the TRAMVIA. Remember to stamp your ticket on board.
- Directly on board the BUS with the contactless system, use a credit, debit or prepaid card or your smartphone. (REMEMBER 1 ATM card → 1 ticket).
Piazzale MichelangeloIt is the most famous panorama. From your accommodation:
- walking you arrive in 40 minutes (20 minutes down, 20 minutes to go up).

Chiesa di San Miniato a Monte The highest point of Piazzale Michelangelo and you can reach it by climbing a long staircase. Besides the panorama, the church is really beautiful. Follow the signs for Piazzale Michelangelo (walk or use a BUS)
Giardino delle Rose It is located under the Piazzale Michelangelo on the left side of the terrace. The garden is free, you will find sculptures by Jean-Michel Folon and a beautiful panorama especially during the rose flowering period. Giardino dell’Iris It is located under the Piazzale Michelangelo on the right side. The garden houses a large variety of Iris, the symbol flower of the city. EDV Garden Original, colorful and cheerful space with installations and paths and a beautiful view of the city. To get there follow the signs for Piazzale Michelangelo (walk or use a BUS) and then 11 minutes walk until you reach Passo all’Erta https://www.edvgarden.com/it/
Forte Belvedere Behind the Boboli garden of Palazzo Pitti. You can reach it with an 11-minute walk uphill from the Lungarno TORRIGIANI, Piazza Santa Soprano along Costa dei Magnoli towards Costa San Giorgio to Belvedere.
Villa Bardini e giardino Near Fort Belvedere. Between April and May the view is colored by beautiful Japanese Wisteria – Wisteria floribunda- in a tunnel 70 meters long and 4.6 meters wide.
